Hello! Did you think I died? Sorry muchachos, I've been a bad blogger.
To make up for that here's a quick beauty tutorial for ya! It's all natural and it's brill.
So, when you've got all the ingredients what you have to do is:

- Open your green tea bag and pour 1 oz/ 3 tablespoons of water on it
- Mix it and let it sit for 10 minutes
- Mix in 5 tablespoons of flour
- Mix in 1 teaspoon of sugar (sugar has natural glycerin in it and it's GREAT for skin)
- Add a few drops of lemon, natural detoxifier (shhh I know that's not a word)
- and then for the key ingredient, BAKING SODA ho ya. 2 teaspoons of that!
Baking soda cleans and exfoliates skin without hurting it.

This is 100% optional, but if you have dry skin, you can ad a few drops of Johnson's baby oil and it will make your skin so soft you'll wish you had it as a pillow. But seriouslayyy, your skin will thank you for that.

Once your mixture's done, apply it on your face and wait 15-20 minutes before you take it out! Oh and I HIGHLY suggest you do this before you take your shower because things could get messy. After you've washed it off you'll see that your skin is brighter and tighter, it's mucho bueno. You can apply your favourite serum right after you pat your face dry and again, your skin will thank you for it.

Hola muchachos!
How are you loving my lack of discipline in this detox? Me three.
These pictures may look all cute and "cozy" but they certainly don't reflect my current state of being. I'm in my sweat pants lying on my bed waiting for a meteor to strike the earth so that I can finally get up. For realz. That's the only thing that would get me up right now.  So don't be fooled by these candid shots. Or by the rocks that I got. Cause I'm still Jenny from the block. (kidding, those are J-Lo lyrics).
Anyway, I'm not on my sofa drinking tea and watching Legally Blonde. I'm on my bed, with two different socks and I'm trying to get something out of my eye. Oh and I look like a troll under a bridge. And maybe a grizzly also.
{Dobby: check, Gollum: check, troll: check, grizzly: check}
Great.
Cheers!

blind for the day

Photobucket
Photobucket

Hello kittehss!
So today I went to the eye doctor and they dilated my pupils to see if my eyes were normal and shiz. What I didn't know was that I'd be blind for the next five hours. I can't see the contacts on my phone, so if you get an email from me complaining about lice and stink bugs, it probably wasn't meant for you.
I don't have lice by the way. I've had them at least four times in my life and it was hell. TMI? Probably.
The best about this pupil-dilation is that I'm sensitive to sunlight. I thought the doctor was exaggerating when she said that because it made me think about vampires in Twilight but umm...no. Turns out she WASN'T exaggerating. As soon as I walked out outside I let out a deafening cry and fell on my knees screaming "IT BURNSSSSSSSS" while covering my face from the sunlight and convulsing like I had cholera.
Okay. So I stole that from the Lord of the Rings, from Gollum to be more precise. But still. Deliberate pupil dilation is not pleasant. I'm still twitching like a dying insect. I just love how I compared myself to Dobby (from Harry Potter) and to Gollum this week, feels great.
Oh and you know what else? The doctor gave me these weird sunglasses like the ones you use to see eclipses. But I refuse to wear them. I choose the twitching over the looking-like-someone-who-thinks-there's-an-eclipse-in-April.
So anyway, I thought I'd share with you my current to-do list. I've heard WONDERFUL things about Moroccan Oil (for hair) and I decided I should give it a try.
Also, I'm looking to buy a nice and BIG agenda, or planner or whatevs, just something where I can organize all kinds of biznaz. Have any suggestions?
I sure appreciate them.
I need to pee.
BYE!

As you can see I've officially ruined my detox. I decided to end this post with the picture of a tree so that I was less reminded of the fact that I ate my weight in Cadbury Mini Eggs. And Peeps. And Godiva. And Lindt.
Sin, I tell ya. Sin. Ellie Krieger from the Food Network (that health freak who puts lemons and carrots in coffee to make it healthier) wouldn't be pleased.
I'm off to finish my research paper.
Cheers!

the contraptions of my brain

I was doing some procrastination a few minutes ago on Pinterest and I saw that my friend Cassie was also having a little love affair with the big P. The Big P being Pinterest. It's either Pinterest or Tumblr that distract me. Procrastination loves it. Yes, I just personified Procrastination. I do try to get away from P&T, I do. But then I see a James Franco gif animation or a Marie-Claire looking living room and JIZZAM, there goes my brain wandering off. That sneaky bugger of a brain. If you want to take a closer look at the functioning of my brain, look below.

That's Dobby from Harry Potter. NOT to be mistaken with Smeagle. or Gollum. which are the same by the way.
