Did you think I died?
Apologies my friends. Blog designs and emails are sucking the life out of me. Oh and did I mention the sun is too?
Ya. I feel like I'm having hot flashes each time I step out of the house.
This is my new favourite t-shirt from DOTS. It's scary how much it represents me.
I'm going to chill by the pool and I promise to post more.
Two weeks before I leave for Portugal. huzzah!

The Curious Pug

Hello there! I'm Alycia from The Curious Pug and I live in California with my husband and dog Monty. I love to blog about life, crafty finds, DIYS, pretty pictures and the like over there. I'm really excited about fulfilling my 30 before 30 goals and partaking in a Project 52 where I take a picture every week for a year. Having my blog has enabled me to meet some really wonderful and inspiring folks in the handmade community! I'm an avid book reader, wannabe green thumb, and an xray tech (when the economy allows!). I hope you'll come visit me!

None of my friends or family have blogs so they think I am nuts (and possibly a bit narcissistic) for taking pictures of my outfits to post on the internet but then I throw you guys all under the bus so they know I am not alone! =) I absolutely love the blogging community and am having a blast sharing a little bit of my life with you guys! xoxo, jenn

Visit this lovely lady and show her some love!!

My dad and I went to the Andrew Air Force Base show yesterday and I got to use his big-monster lenses to shoot all those planes. No pun intended. We walked around the base the whole day and got to see a loads of cool demonstrations, accompanied by heroic theme songs; it almost felt like Apocalypse Now or Star Wars or something.

ps: I'm still wondering why I have so many pictures of children and topless old men. Shhhh.

The Travelling Journal {CLOSED/FULL}

Are you extra excited already???
First let me introduce to you the creative genius behind this project, Kaitlyn. She has a little blog called IsaVirtue and like me, she LOVES all things paper. You can visit her shop here and learn more about her here! You'll love her, she's funny and so so sweet.
Anyway, I love these kinds of projects where bloggers come together and send each other things, whether they be clothes, letters, journals etc. Doesn't get more creative than this folks! So shoot this little lady an email and participate in this wonderful project! It's a great way to meet new bloggers and to even get your blog out there!

Last but not least, Kaitlyn's having an incredible giveaway on her blog (the huge kind with lots of goodies) so make sure you check that out!

Hey kitty cats!
I made a list of all the juicy things I've been luvin' lately. It includes this:

1- Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer which is GREAT and seriously leaves your skin feeling like velvet and silk. Or like a baby's butt cheek, which I think is the comparison I'm trying to make here. But really, it's great as a primer and it goes on so smoothly. It just smooths your face. I love Clinique, period. Their stuff isn't full of funky perfumes and my experience with "them" has always been the bomb. Of course, their products aren't really on the cheap side BUT it's a good investement.
2- Skin Clearing Mineral Powder from Neutrogena is also a great buy and in this case it's not going to break your bank or your zits. If that makes sense. I'm the most paranoid person on earth with "skin health" so the fact that this powder doesn't have any bad ingredients in it AND that it actually helps clear skin is a super bonus. Oh and it goes on great, it removes all those red spots which are the most frustrating thing ever and it basically makes your face smooth.
3- Sonia Kashuk Powder Brush I've alway heard great things about this Sonia lady, I never really bought anything from her, in fact, I used to say Sonia CASHEW (this is why I'm changing my eating habits, just scroll down the post) but I was at Target the other day and I sneakily opened a brush set to feel the brush's bristles and um. Softness. Really professional and cool AND inexpensive. BOOYAZ.
4- Clinique's Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer see how paranoid? Hmmya. This is good stuff. If you're thinking of buying a new concealer at CVS, think twice. This little number costs $14 so instead of buying a Maybelline concealer, get this one!
5- Dukan Diet Book This book is a little miracle. If you want to lose half your weight OR if you just wanna shed those little extra pounds, this if for you. I wanna take care of my little love handles, (or 'hate' handles) before I have to sit on a beach. Anyway, this diet's French and I'm so glad one a friend of mine recommended it to me. It's hardcore protein for the first days (scroll down post) but the good thing is that you can eat ALL you want. I've eaten so much chicken these last two days. Basically a vegetarian's worst nightmare. Kidding. But even vegetarians can do this! Just replace chicken or meat with tofu. And there's lots of other things you can eat/drink; yogurt, cottage cheese, milk, diet coke, oat bran, (fish) etc etc. And you can have as much as you want so you're never starving. It says that you can lose up two pounds a day which is crazy BUT true. So step on it! If you want. We can do it together and "support" each other.

VOILA, just some suggestions.
I'm going to have a gallon of coke now, 'cause it's 0 calories, HOLLA!

ps: sorry if I write everything in caps lock. SO annoying.

Shizzle. I'm so full.
I'm starting the Dukan Diet (it's French) tomorrow so today is feast day.
I've been sitting at the computer answering emails and watching Sex and the City. Sundays don't get any better than this.
If I owe any of you guys-ssssss emails I'll get on it tonight! And thank you for ALL your increzzzzibly sweet messages. Better than these brownies and that's hard to beat.
Hope everyone's having a bombastic Sunday.

xoxo, gossip girl
