Yesterday I was "what if" shopping. If you don't know what "what if" shopping is, it's a term my best friend and I invented and it basically means "what if I was rich and I could buy whatever I wanted?"
So we go around, browsing online clothing stores like it's our job, "pick" whatever we want and then save everything to our computers. The last steps of the "what if" shopping process include imagining ourselves wearing what we picked and creating a story to go behind it. It also involves a lot of "OH MON DIEU's".  Like in a movie. It's real fun and it does help when you have those horrible urges to shop.
I WISH I could say the same thing about food. But alas.
These are my latest shopping finds and I l.o.v.e them.
Especially that white bathing suit. You wanna know how much it costs?
All I'm gonna say is: it's unholy.

Malaba Carmina Mid bag: Urban Outfitters

the white suit is gorgeous! and i thought, how bad could it be? i was thinking maybe upper 100s and then I saw 300 and was like whoa! too much for a white suit that would probably not make it through a summer spent in the ocean!

I actually have both the scarf and handbag on my current Wish Lists...And I think those bathing suits are going on there too!
The white and blush would look really lovely against your skin.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these! How completely adorable. I go "what if" shopping all the time, my favorite is when you actually find a stellar deal while "what if" shopping {although it slightly defeats the purpose-haha!}

Just clicked over and saw the price of that white suit. You're far beyond unholy, there. I mean... that's just bad wrong.

And the model's two-ha is like... protruding a lot. She should've modeled the black bathing suit, I think.

Your "what if" shopping is my "imaginary shopping spree." I've been bookmarking like crazy now that the season is changing and have been waiting until my collection feels complete to post. I spent too much time "shopping" on Antrhopologie's website but I actually haven't looked at their bathing suits. I love the white one.

Oh I love doing this! I used to do it when I was younger with the Sears toy catalog that came in the mail. Then I'd start doing it when I was a little older with the Sears and JC Penney clothes catalogs. Now that we've got the internet, I do that sometimes with clothes sites but more recently I've started doing it with furniture/ home websites. Like I'll go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and pretend that I have infinite money and have to re-decorate my entire house (including new dishes and pots and pans, of couse). It's so much fun but then sometimes it reminds me of how much stuff I actually do need! Lol.
