blind for the day

Hello kittehss!
So today I went to the eye doctor and they dilated my pupils to see if my eyes were normal and shiz. What I didn't know was that I'd be blind for the next five hours. I can't see the contacts on my phone, so if you get an email from me complaining about lice and stink bugs, it probably wasn't meant for you.
I don't have lice by the way. I've had them at least four times in my life and it was hell. TMI? Probably.
The best about this pupil-dilation is that I'm sensitive to sunlight. I thought the doctor was exaggerating when she said that because it made me think about vampires in Twilight but umm...no. Turns out she WASN'T exaggerating. As soon as I walked out outside I let out a deafening cry and fell on my knees screaming "IT BURNSSSSSSSS" while covering my face from the sunlight and convulsing like I had cholera.
Okay. So I stole that from the Lord of the Rings, from Gollum to be more precise. But still. Deliberate pupil dilation is not pleasant. I'm still twitching like a dying insect. I just love how I compared myself to Dobby (from Harry Potter) and to Gollum this week, feels great.
Oh and you know what else? The doctor gave me these weird sunglasses like the ones you use to see eclipses. But I refuse to wear them. I choose the twitching over the looking-like-someone-who-thinks-there's-an-eclipse-in-April.
So anyway, I thought I'd share with you my current to-do list. I've heard WONDERFUL things about Moroccan Oil (for hair) and I decided I should give it a try.
Also, I'm looking to buy a nice and BIG agenda, or planner or whatevs, just something where I can organize all kinds of biznaz. Have any suggestions?
I sure appreciate them.
I need to pee.
BYE!

What's the oil suppose to do for your hair? I'm intrigued. And I'm glad you told me you had to pee because I was worried <3

HAHA! Last time I had to get my pupils dilated I was the same way. It was cloudy out, and I was still like dyingg from the sun! And I held my phone arms length away to try to text people to tell them that I couldn't see and I'd text them later. Good times, good times.

Moroccan Oil is amazing! I thought it would make my hair oil (duh...it's an oil) but it just leaves it super soft and sooo nice smelling.

Oh I hate when I have to get my eyes dilated! I have to find a big planner too! I love going look for them, makes me feel so organized.

Yuck, I hate having my eyes dilated, and I always refuse to wear the "sunglasses" that they provide...so I bring my darkest pair of Ray Bans with me, and off I go.
Oh, you will fall in love once you try Moroccan Oil, it's absolutely my favorite hair product to date. *swoon*
Hope your vision is back to normal soon!

I would have believed you if you didn't make the LOTR reference ;) I kid, I kid. If you want to be cheap you can buy those agenda things at the dollar tree for $1 whole dollar. That place is like crack to me.

OMGosh I had my eyes dialated recently and I think I screamed the same way. My son also had his done and it was like the blind leading the blind getting to the car!

We don't have a CVS but I adore me some Walgreens. I can spend hours just looking in every aisle!

Holy crap, I've had that done at the eye doctor as well and it's PURE torture!! I didn't have sunglasses either so I had to stumble home, holding onto buildings, signposts, and probably random strangers. Eeks! Love your blog btw!
