Hello my prettiesssss!
This morning while I was putting my makeup on, I realized one thing. I can't put lipstick on. I'm usually pretty savvy when it comes to makeup, but lipstick, not my thing. You can't really see it on the pictures but I kind of looked like a transvestite. Or like my father if he tried to put lipstick on. But that wouldn't happen. Sooo, if any of you have any tips on how to apply lipstick, please share! I'd really appreciate it.
Do you see the white tights? I've been dreaming about them for two.whole.months. I got them from We Love Colors and they are the best. I honestly don't think that I've ever owned such good quality tights in my life. You know how I can prove that? Hear me out. When I get home from school my dog, who happens to be the craziest/most hyper dog on the planet (I'm not saying crazy and hyper in the cute Marley & Me way but in the insane/I'm so hyper that I don't know what to do with myself so I bite your feet way) jumps on me for oh about 15 minutes and scratches the heck out of my legs and arms. Yes, my white tights went through that. Twice. Do they still look and feel as good as new? You betcha. Except for the little hairs Spot left on them. That dog sheds so much. I had dog hair in my coffee today. But that's another story.
Anyways. If I could throw them to you across the screen so that you could feel them I would because holy shiz they are soft (the tights, not Spot's hair). They're nylon/lycra microfibers and that my friends makes all the difference. If you want to buy tights, get these, they're soooo much better than the nylon ones! Oh and they do that magic trick where they suck in your love handles so you don't have to not breath all day trying to hold you stomach in. Booyaka! I hope you suck in your stomach like me, or else I'd be embarrassing myself.
I got them in Ivory and not in White because they had a softer tone to them which I love. Neutral fan over here!
All I can say is, girls, got get some tights at We Love Colors. They will make you happy. They're cheap and they have so many colors that you'll want to buy a pair for each outfit. Serious.

if it matters, it looks like you applied the lipstick on just fine! I don't wear lipstick only lip balm or gloss with color.

I have trouble with the lipstick thing, too, mostly with making sure it looks smooth instead of crooked all around the edges. I hear lipliner works to resolve that, but what I usually do is put it on (crooked edges and all), then use lip balm (carmex, chapstick, whatever) on top and that REALLY smooths it out. I just kiss off the extra on a piece of toilet paper so that it's not too heavy.
Anyway, don't know if that's your issue, but if so, hope I could help! Your lipstick really does look good here, but I understand that sometimes pictures can be deceiving. =)

I think your lipstick looks beautiful! If you're worried about it looking dry just exfoliate your lips before applying, then apply chapstick and let it soak in for a few minutes. Then apply the color. Works for me and lasts all day. :)

Girl, you rocked.it. Seriously! I'm no expert when it come to the lipstick thing, but I found a system that works for me. I exfoliate my lips & add chap stick right away. After it has soaked in a bit, I put a tiny bit of concealer on my lips. Then line them with a lip pencil. After that I put on my lipstick, blot, & reapply. It sounds like a lot of steps (cause it kind of is) but it last for-eva when I do it that way. Ps, thanks for sharing the link to the tights. I'm going to check 'em out asap. Ok. Wow. OH NO! I'm SO sorry to hear the domain switching has been giving you trouble :( I noticed you had purchased it and it wasn't directing to your site properly. I guess the two things I did was buy the domain through blogger (it's easier this way) and then I updated the settings through Settings>Publishing so that it directs to the new domain. It does take a couple of days for everything to transfer over properly so that is the only thing I can think of as to why it's not working. Hope it works out sooner than later!

so now i have to buy white tight because a) you look super adorable in them and b) i've really been wanting a pair and you have given me a place to buy them. oh and with lipstick, i have to put it on for cheerleading and i put on chapstick first so its easier wipe off if you mess up and i only put it in the middle-ish part of lips then rub it in the rest of my lips. hope that helps!

the best lipstick advice i have is get a good primer (urban decay makes a great one!) and if you really have trouble, lip liner! these pictures must be deceiving though because yours looks great! :)
